Monkton 2012

Drawings from the Monkton Wylde life drawing weekend, 2012. Taught by Dave Bernson, with Morag Donnelly as our model. This is an annual weekend that I take our 6th form students on. All the poses are quick, less that 5 minutes, and all the drawings are done with both hands simultaneously, using quill pens, reed pens, charcoal, pencil, chinese brushes chinese ink, and fingers. My favourite drawings from this collection are the ones that I did with my fingers and finger nails. It is a very spiritual and meditative expereince, based on the teaching of Cecil Collins.
