Lifelines weekend at Hawkwood House, December 2018
I participate in and run drawing weekends several times a year, which are inspired by the work of visionary artist Cecil Collins.

This method of lifedrawing is experiencial, meditative and spiritually charged.

Poses are all very short - really nothing longer than 5 minutes.

We draw using very loose materials, such as water and clay, chinese ink, charcoal and sanguine - very earthy materials

Tools are also basic - bamboo reed pen, quill, or just hands and fingers

All the drawings are done using both hands simultaneoulsy

Almost all the classes that I have done have been either with Dave Bernson - who attended classes run by Cecil Collins, or Morag Donnelly, who previously modeled for Meriel Gold, who was taught by Cecil Collins
