These are drawings and paintings that I have done over the last few years during the weekly life drawing class that I organise and run for my students. As I am teaching and supervising as well as drawing they tend to be a bit rushed, but actually this is the style of drawing that I like most. The main reason for putting them up on this website is really only to experiment with the creation of 'drag and drop' web galleries, although I have been thinking about myself as an artists in relation to assignment three as well. This galery has been created with a bit of software called 'banner zest' from Aquafadas The quality of the images aside (they have been rather hastily photographed rather than scanned) I like the way in which this gallery works, although I have not worked out yet why they appear as far down the page as they do. Bit of technical help needed! Using Bannerzest is also a good plan in realation to my aim of furthering my 'research' into digital media, having been sought out by the creators at January's Bett show and given complimentary software to trial is is a good idea for me to experiment with the software and put it to good use.

Bad URLs in your HTML code prevented the banner from loading successfully.

You can get this error if you published a banner on your disk and then uploaded the banner files manually, or with your web site editor. Chances are that either your HTML code or banner file (bz.js) still make reference to content that is on your disk.
