As a senior citizen who has recently completed a digital photography enhancement course at Sidcot Arts Centre, I would like to comment about the "PingPong" game featured in the programme. I have found it to be invaluable in enabling me to utilize the "cut & paste" skills acquired during the course. I am thoroughly enjoying competing with my partner and shall continue to do so even though the course has finished.

Photoshop pingpong is an innovative game which provides a creative and fun environment to learn and enjoy photoshop. I have thoroughly enjoyed the games I have played, they have encouraged me to use the photoshop techniques I have learnt in class while also prompting me to look for other techniques to achieve any more difficult shots I wanted to play. The creative aspect of the game has been a complete joy, it has been great fun deciding how to change the image for each shot and the added dimension of having a partner to play with has made the game both captivating and challenging: I love seeing what my partner has added to the image with each shot, this also making the game more testing as their shot can take the image in a completely different direction to the one you had envisioned. This is what makes the game so brilliant in my opinion, usually when working on a piece of art you largely in control of the direction it takes but in ping pong that control is taken away, stretching the possibilities and inspiring a completely different outcome.
