Over several years I have been involved in an online training programme called Adobe Generation Pro, which has been offering CPD to teachers around the world, as well as courses for students.

The courses are run using Adobe Connect, an app a little like Skype, but on steroids. Each week of the course we have two primary presenters, who can be seen and heard, usually a third who is in the background, and often an invited guest. The students and teachers who log onto the course can type, and there are polls, so it is partially interactive. We have been able to get some amazing contributuions from our guest experts, who show their work, and talk about the tools they use. Each week we will give some technical instruction, and often set a homework for which there will be prizes. At the end of the course students are awarded a digital certificate.
