I have been mindful of this project in the work that I have
done with students over the course of the past term. The
project that became ‘Bob and Bobita’ in particular.
I was very pleased with the final result of this, which
seems to fit neatly with Lev Manovich’s concept of ‘Spatial
Montage’.
I also used this project to experiment with the creation of
an updated fairy story, and with the possibilities of
silhouette illustration.
With the ‘Crazy Talk’ project students wrote the scripts
for their animations at home and emailed them to me. A
primary motivation for my experimentation with this whole
project is to create online resources for this type of
interaction.
